He let his
gaze travel over the dance floor until his eyes found her. He was sure it was
her. He had seen her dance so often and her movements were so unique, that even
he would be able to recognize her in a room full dancers.
From his position,
he could see her every move down there on the dance floor. He had to admit he
really started to like this new concept of this club.
A round
dance floor on the main floor with three levels of private suites above it. In
addition, they all had this opening so you could look down to the dancers. The
music was a bit too loud for his taste and his sensitive ears though. You could
barely hear the voices of the people in the suites next to him.
He chuckled
softly to himself and shook his head when he realized it sure could be an advantage.
Still smiling he turned his back to the
railing of the suites opening and checked the small room one more time. Everything
had to be perfect.
The lights
were dimmed and the waiter had brought a bottle of champagne for her, which was
cooling on the small table in front of the massive couch right now. A mirror
graced the wall, which was the closest to the couch. He smiled mysterious when
he saw it, before tucking at the light white drapes that were framing the
opening. Silently they swank close.
A grin
spread across his face when he realized that they were see-through and would
only create the illusion of privacy. He could still see the shadows of the
people in the suite across the dance floor, but he couldn’t tell who it was
anymore.
He hoped
she wouldn’t back out of it, but trust him enough. He needed a little adventure
after this last five months. After the birth of his second son everything
revolved around his four kids and with three of them being under the age of six
and one being a teenager, it sure could be stressful. He wanted a little
excitement, he wanted to be naughty and play with fire.
He grabbed
his coke and peered through a small crack that the drapes were forming, down on
the dance floor again. There were more beautiful girls in this place than in
any other club he had been before. Some men really tried hard to get their
attention. His brown eyes narrowed in jealousy when he realized that most of
the guys were working their way to a specific woman on the dance floor.
HIS woman! They were drawn to her like moths to
the light.
He knew she
was beautiful, sexy and very charming and he knew she loved to dance. It always
looked so effortless and elegant when she was moving. Her long blond hair was
moving around her and set a strong contrast to her little black dress. She had
fun, you could see that and she didn’t seem to give a damn about all those guys
who were trying to impress her.
With a
small smile and shaking of her head, she turned down one offer after another.
Rich put his coke on the table and left his suite with long purposeful strides.
He jogged down the sadly illuminated stairs and reached the main level. Without
looking at someone else, he moved through the dancing crowd towards her.
